IBPS is known as Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. In India, there are 37 private sector banks. All the banks, except SBI, conducts recruitment exams by IBPS exam. Many employment opportunities are given for the unemployed youth with the educational qualifications from 10th to PG. Vacancies like Clerk, Probationary Officers, Office Assistants, Manager, Deputy Manager, Specialist Officers, Banker Faculty are recruited by the banking system. The recruitment is not limited to one state that is applicable to all over India.

IBPS Recruitment Clerk

The Clerk post vacancies are released twice in a year. The basic educational qualification for the post is graduation degree, and age limit should be 20 to 28 years. The selection to post is made by Preliminary Examination and Main Examination. The applicants qualified in the Preliminary Examination will be eligible for the next process of Main Examination. The graduates can try hard to get the clerk job and get settled in the future.

IBPS PO:
PO is known as Probationary Officer. The eligible qualification to the post is graduation from any discipline. The age limit to the post is a minimum of 20 years and Maximum of 30 years. The selection to post includes the Preliminary and Main Examination. It is the next higher position after the clerk. The contenders can choose the appropriate post that is suitable to them.    

About IBPS:
After 1969 all banks thought to expand their business. For this purpose, the banks followed the advertisements to recruit the staff but they got unsatisfied with this method. Then all the banks requested the National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM) to design a selection process for hiring the candidates. In the year 1984 NIBM designed it and then named as IBPS. Previously the candidates used to write exams separately conducted by each bank who released the notification.  From the year 2012, the recruitment process got totally changed. Per year IBPS conducts five exams for banking sector recruitment.
